So when the doctor says, "I'm sorry, you have Parkinson's," the words bounce off you like some high school rumor.
But then it sinks in. And your world is forever changed.
For 90,000 people - this year alone - Parkinson's became their reality. And local resident James Rodden was one of them.
A Kingstonian from birth, James is an avid fisherman, gym buff, runner, father, brother, son, and friend. In February 2023, he received his diagnosis.
Humble to the core, James hates being the center of attention. But his diagnosis is a rallying cry for all of us. Too many people right here in the Hudson Valley face an unimaginable - and ultimately unknowable - path.
